Shish Haider appointed ICT secretary

Shish Haider Chowdhury has been appointed as the secretary for the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Division.
The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification in this regard today.
Prior to this, he was serving as a member (additional secretary) of the International Cooperation Division of the Bangladesh Trade and Tariff Commission.
On Thursday, ICT Division Secretary Md Shamsul Arefin and Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Md Humayun Kabir Khandaker were removed from their respective positions and made officers on special duty (OSD) by the Ministry of Public Administration.
While the ICT Division has received a new secretary, as of Saturday evening, no appointment had been made for the position of Secretary of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting at the time of filing this report.
